Design & Manufacturing Capabilities

Hypertronics’ expertise is precision design and manufacturing of electronic interconnect systems. Hypertronics employs the finest draftsmen and engineers to work directly with customers to address specific customer needs and meet industry requirements.

The combination of engineering talent and in-house manufacturing capabilities, such as 3D solid modeling, rapid prototyping, high precision assembly and injection molding, provide customers with quality product in quick turnaround.

 

3-D Design

Hypertronics uses a fully associative CAD/CAM 3-D solid modeling software package that allows our Engineers to design quickly and spot any potential design issues immediately. (top)

 

Rapid Prototyping

Our CNC Milling centers have the ability to configure and machine engineered plastics as well as all metals to very complicated designs. This ability gives Hypertronics the edge in supplying customized connector solutions to full specification within days from design to application. Quantities range from one of a kind to complete systems. (top)

 

Screw Machining

Hypertronics capabilities include the production of screw machine components utilizing multi-axis CNC screw machines. This allows for short runs and prototyping to be completed quickly, from design to production in-house in most cases in less than a week. (top)

 

Molding

Hypertronics has efficient plastic injection molding that mold sophisticated engineered plastics such as LCP. We currently mold both Thermoplastic and Thermoset materials. Tooling capabilities range from prototype to fully hardened single and multi cavity tools allowing for higher output to meet customer needs / demands. (top)

 

Contact Manufacturing

Hypertronics exclusively manufactures the Hypertac contact. These contacts range from
one to 500 Amps and from a few hundred pieces to millions of various sizes and configurations. (top)
