Customer Testimonials

SynCardia

"For the artificial heart driver, ultra reliable connectivity is paramount, so we chose the technology that could deliver," said Rodger Ford SynCardia, CEO. "Hypertronics contacts have the proven Hypertac technoogy that eliminates uncertainty about connectivity."

Lockheed Martin

"Our small business partners are vital to or mission success," said James F. Berry, president of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. "Lockheed Martin relies heavily on materials, services, solutions, resources, and components through our small businesses to provide our customers with world-class products."

Medtronic

"The biggest factor about interconnects in medical devices is robustness," stated David Warrne Lee, Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer in Meuromodulatioin business at Medtronic. "We use the Hypertronics connectors in our external neurostimulator because we needed an extremely durable, very reliable connector. It's a medical device and it has to work. Medtronic was excited to hear about Hypertronics new mini technology because we love the ultra reliability of their current connectors, but size was starting to become a problem. Their connectorss are very durable and reliable."

Northrop Grumman

Northrop Grumman Corporation selected Hypertronics connectors for the Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system (UAS) due to their reliability and robustness under harsh environments, shock and vibration.

NASA

"The basic reason for selecting Hypertronics connectors for the Hubble Space Telescope is the unique wire basket design that creates a 360° point of contact," comments Noman Siddiqi, NASA engineer. "The connectors were identified from day one as the connector to use to ensure signal reliability and eliminate fretting which can be an issue with tuning fork style connectors."

"NASA-Goddard engineers incorporated the design of the Hypertronics Hypertac interconnect to replace the familiar blade and fork contacts used in CompactPCI™ connectors. We saw the wire basket design of the socket offer several advantages over stamped contacts, so we added the Hypertac design to our cPCI™ style connector specification S311P822. Hypertronics did a great job designing these intricate sockets for a 2mm pitch. When it comes to a low insertion force connection, we found the wire contacts. We require a robust contact that can withstand high levels, but short duration, of shock and vibration. The wire basket creates multiple points of contact within the circumference of the pin, which ensure signal reliability during static or dynamic conditions of the circuit. I'm very pleased with the attention Hypertronics pays to our connector design needs. Their desire to cultivate new ideas is refreshing within our narrow niche of the interconnect market."
